Below is a list of the resolutions that the General Assembly of Occupy Berkeley has passed.
January 30th
- 70% threshold for consensus
- Blocks, as stated on the OB website, are based on ethical or safety concerns.
- There are three options when responding to a proposal: yes/in favor, neutral/stand aside, or block. There is no “no” option that is separate from a block.
- Frivolous or illegitimate blocks will be challenged.
- Zero tolerance for bad behavior (disruptive, aggressive, intimidating, loud, roud, getting in people’s faces, personal attacks, repeated interruptions by people other than the facilitator, blowing whistles) at GAs and OB activities. We expect strong facilitation, and the whole group will back the facilitator in telling that person that she/he must leave and if necessary will escort the person away from Occupy Berkeley gatherings.
